Accommodation & Getting Around London
London is incredibly sparse and you’ll want to stay as close as possible to where you’ll be spending the most amount of your time. It might be cheaper to stay outside of London, but you’ll then likely pay for it in train fares! Across London you’ll find that every area has its pockets of beauty that coexist with low socioeconomic areas, making it all the more interesting.
For good quality, reasonably priced hotels: check https://uk.hotels.com/ or https://www.booking.com/ and set the price to what you’re willing to pay. Read the reviews before you book!

Getting Around London:
If you can get your hands on a bicycle then that’s the most cost-effective way to get around London.
Lime Bikes + Forest Bikes are everywhere for hire and are cheaper/quicker than an Uber. You’ll need to download the app. Forest Bikes have 10-mins free a day.
Underground + Overground trains - get your hands on an Oyster Card on arrival so you don’t pay a NZ bank fee with every transaction using the pay wave service.
Uber / Black Cab - you can download an app called Free Now for black cabs.
